Hello there.  This is Tony and Christine again, co-hosts of the Refinement NOT retirement podcast, and we have a Silver Power Message for you today!

We strongly believe that anyone running a business in the UK should be taking especially good care of their elders.  Why? 


Because otherwise they are missing out on the massive economic power of the older generation.

That’s right, elders are a HUGE consumer market, controlling nearly 80% of the UK’s wealth, according to both the Centre for Ageing Better and SAGA. 

So businesses should prioritize elder needs and provide excellent service. 


And we in the Refinement NOT retirement community intend to help businesses out.  How?  Through “Silver Power”, that’s how! 


By sharing our experienced-based opinions through the Refinement NOT retirement podcast, we’ll be providing you, our lovely listeners, with Silver Power Reviews on the products and services we’ve liked and disliked.  


Christine and I will tell you what we’ve experienced first hand - just as we did when we discussed our fantastic experience with our hot tub providers in our episode called “Our Happy Hot Tub-a BIG refinement” 


Other Silver Power Reviews that we’ll be doing will not necessarily be always complimentary.  Quite the opposite sometimes.  We’ll be sharing the Good, the Bad and the downright Ugly!  Because a lot of businesses, big and small, don’t appear to have got the memo about Silver Power yet!


And let me assure you dear listener, there will be no fear nor favour involved in our Silver Power Reviews.  The opinions we share will be independent and untainted.  They’ll be based on what we ourselves have experienced.


For those businesses that don’t come out smelling of roses, we hope that they will use our feedback to improve - for themselves and for the good of our lovely listeners, who deserve better.


Our silver fox listeners have massive financial power.  But quite apart from that, they are also fiercely loyal.  They LOVE companies that treat them well - and we will keep coming back for more., over and over again.


But wait, there’s more!  Our politicians should also respect Silver Power because we are also a HUGE voting bloc.  Over 75% of eligible voters aged 65 and over cast their ballots in the last UK General Election.
